Faith
My faith is neither traditional nor merely intellectual; it is not dogmatic nor mechanical; it is wholly personal and purely spiritual.
In My life on the sphere of Urantia, this and all other worlds of the local creation shall observe and discover a new and higher type of religion, a religious spirituality built upon personal spiritual relations with the Universal Father .. the Eternal Mother Son .. and the Immaculate Spirit Persons.
My religion is and always will be wholly validated by the supreme authority of genuine personal experience. This living faith is more than an intellectual reflection, and it is not a mystic meditation. It is personal, spontaneous, an all-consuming love for the Father Mother of Life. It is direct spiritual relations with existence.
Theology may attempt to fix, formulate, define, and dogmatize faith, but in my human life .. faith is personal, living, original, spontaneous, and purely spiritual.
This faith is not reverence for tradition nor a mere intellectual belief which I hold as a sacred creed, but rather a sublime and highly subtle experience and a profound conviction which securely holds Me.
My faith is alive, so real, and all-encompassing so that it absolutely sweeps away any spiritual doubts and effectively destroys every conflicting desire and all seeds of resistance.
Nothing is able to tear Me away from the spiritual anchorage of this fervent, sublime, and undaunted faith. Even in the face of apparent disappointment or in the throes of the world's limitations and threatening despair, I calmly stand in the field of the Universal Father Mother .. I experience the great joyfulness in the adventure of advancement in the divine presence .. free from any possibility of fear and fully conscious of spiritual invincibility within the very omnipotence of the Almighty God.
I enjoy the invigorating assurance of the possession of unflinching faith, and in each of life’s trying situations I unfailingly exhibit an unquestioning loyalty to the Father’s will and life with an overwhelmingly happy countenance and evolutionary experience.
