My Holy Comforter Spirit of Truth
The liberation and magnification of my teachings bring lasting transformation and eternalizing changes. The bestowal of the Holy Comforter, with its spiritual endowment, is designed forever to loose my religious approach and perspective from all dependence upon physical force;
Transformation by the Spirit of Truth.
By the old way you seek to suppress, obey, and conform to the rules of living; by the new way you are first transformed by the Spirit of Truth and thereby strengthened in your inner soul by the constant spiritual renewing of your mind, and so are you endowed with the power of the certain and joyous performance of the gracious, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Forget not .. it is your personal faith in the exceedingly great and precious promises of God that ensures your becoming partakers of the divine nature. Thus by your faith and the spirit’s transformation, you become in reality the temples of God, and his spirit actually dwells within you. If, then, the spirit dwells within you, you are no longer bondslaves of the flesh but free and liberated sons of the spirit. The new law of the spirit endows you with the liberty of self-mastery in place of the old law of the fear of self-bondage and the slavery of self-denial.
Sure guidance of the Spirit of Truth.
Having started out on the way of life everlasting, having accepted the assignment and received your orders to advance, do not fear the dangers of human forgetfulness and mortal inconstancy, do not be troubled with doubts of failure or by perplexing confusion, do not falter and question your status and standing, for in every dark hour, at every crossroad in the forward struggle, the Spirit of Truth will always speak, saying, ‘This is the way.
The students of this new religious spirituality are now equipped with spiritual weapons. They are to go out to conquer the world with unfailing forgiveness, matchless joy, all-conquering good will, and abounding love. They are equipped to overcome evil with good, to vanquish hate by love, to destroy fear with a courageous and living faith in truth.
I teach my followers that my religiousness is never passive; always are my disciples to be active and positive in their self-ministry of mercy towards themselves, and in their manifestations of loving kindness and care. You are now to regard the eternal Deity as the ‘God and Father of all individuals. You are to achieve personal progress as you more fully grasp the truth that God is the spiritual Father of every individual personhood.
The secret of a better civilization.
The arrival of the Spirit of Truth upon the shores of this planetary sphere endows mortal man with the power to forgive personal injuries through the powers of living faith and the prerogatives of directing all human frailties and faculties into the circuits of Deity.
The Holy Comforter keeps individuals sweet in the midst of the gravest injustice, allows individuals to remain unmoved in the face of appalling danger, and to challenge the evils of hate and anger by the fearless acts of love and forbearance.
Urantia has passed through the ravages of great and destructive wars in its history. All partici- pants in these terrible struggles met with defeat. There was but one victor; there was only one who came out of these embittered struggles with an enhanced reputation— that is My Person, and the gospel I bring of overcoming evil with goodness, truth, and beauty.
The great secret of a better civilization, and a fully thriving evolutionary experience is bound up in My everlasting teachings of the genderless brotherhood of man, the good will of love and mutual trust, and the understanding progressive personality expansion unto these avenues of ascendancy.
